Islais Creek is surrounded by many active industries and is served by the SF Bay Railroad. Use common sense and caution as you would exploring any unfamiliar urban place. The closest commercial area is located to the south along 3rd St after Evans. The Illinois St bridge is only for bikes and cars. If traveling on foot, cross at the 3rd St bridge.
