FROM BART/MUNI DOWNTOWN:
Take the T from Embarcadero Station toward Sunnydale
Arrive 3rd St and Evans; walk across the street and transfer to the 19 bus
Arrive Middle Point and Innes
Walk southeast on Innes to Hawes and the entrance to the Shoreline Park; India Basin Open Space is further along Innes and can be accessed from Arelious Walker

India Basin is located in an industrial area. The PG&E site next to the park is being remediated and there is often traffic from heavy trucks doing this work. Use common sense and caution as you would exploring any unfamiliar urban place. The closest commercial area is located to the west along 3rd St on the other side of Hunters Point. Bike lanes run along Hunters Point Blvd but there is also a separated shoreline access trail between India Basin and Heron's Head Park.
